We were able to step aside from a moment and take a break from the hustle and bustle. I hosted boudoir at The Murano Hotel in Tacoma. I had only a few sessions then reserved the rest of the evening for us. Unfortunately that night I was on day 12 of the worst headache imaginable. It made it hard to really enjoy the evening. It was still very nice to get out and have some good quality adult time.
The hotel is amazing. We have stayed here so many times. Its definitely my favorite hotel in Tacoma/Pierce County. I love the view and the welcoming atmosphere. Its a very modern upscale location. Anyways, we went out to the Wildfin for dinner. It’s located at the newly built Pointe Ruston.
This was our second time at this particular restaurant and I don’t think we will be returning. For the time we waited to be seated, the cost/quality of food and the overall attitude of our waitress, it kind of made the night kind of crappy. The food was overly priced for the quality, came to us at almost 10pm, burnt and Andy ended up cracking his tooth on a shell. Not cool at all. The restaurant was super understanding and took care of our bill which was nice. I just hope that they take our bad experience and try to grow from it and work to make their establishment better. But the feel of the place was cool. Was busy…
After our not so great dinner we decided to go for a walk on Ruston was fun. Perfect fall night. Moon was out, wind was crisp. Love nights like that.
Our sleep was nice. We got to wake up to a wonderful view of Mt. Rainier out our 25th floor window.
I always pick the highest floor, mountain facing room every time. I just love that view. Make it a point to set the alarm to wake up early just to indulge in that view.
After we took in that amazing view we went to breakfast. Compliments of the hotel. Was a great breakfast looking over Tacoma.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the greater Puget Sound/Tacoma area.
